Welds AS4100

The weld group subject to in-plane loading is assessed based on clause 9.7.1.1 of AS4100:2020. The connection plates are deemed to be rigid and to rotate relative to each other about an instantaneous centre of rotation of the weld group. The instantaneous centre of rotation coincides with the weld group centroid.
